Our Premium Agreement

Acceptance of Terms

PenPal World Premium Services are provided to you under the PenPal World Terms of Use as well as this Services Agreement (together the "Agreement"). PenPal World reserves the right to make changes to the Agreement at any time without notice to you. Please visit the following links periodically to review the most recent versions:

The Premium Services

Subject to the terms of this Agreement, PenPal World will provide Services including posting your profile, posting your picture, and hosting your e-mail traffic communications.

All materials submitted to PenPal World by you in connection with the Services must comply with requirements and limitations set forth in the PenPal World Terms of Use. These requirements and limitations are designed primarily to protect our members. PenPal World makes every effort to strictly enforce these requirements at all times. Failure to do so, however, does not in any way waive these requirements and limitations or PenPal World's right to enforce them.

Fees and Payment Policies

PenPal World, as for right now, only accepts payment via PayPal accounts, Stripe.com, as well as mailed in personal checks (U.S. only) and certified bank checks or money orders (anywhere). All fees are payable in U.S. dollars to PenPalWorld.com, are non-transferable (e.g. to other PenPal World accounts), non-refundable and non-creditable.

PenPal World reserves the right to change its policies or fees at any time. Regardless of any changes in its fees, renewal payments are not changed for existing members ever (for example, if you paid $4.95 when you signed up and the price is later raised to $5.95 then you will keep paying $4.95 as long as you don't cancel your subscription).

Initial Payments and Renewal Payments

You must pay your first period's charges prior to PenPal World starting your Premium Services.

If you pay with PayPal eCheck then your PenPal World VIP account will not be activated until your eCheck clears at PayPal, which might take between 5 and 10 business days.

You will be billed on a periodic billing cycle (1, 6, or 12 months, as determined by you during registration for these Services). If you pay for your services using a PayPal account, PayPal will automatically bill your PayPal account on your billing date (your billing date is the periodic anniversary of the day your Premium Services started. For example, if your services started on the 15th day of a given month, you will have a billing date of the 15th in subsequent months).

If you pay for your services using a personal check, certified bank check or money order, you are responsible for ensuring that your renewal payment is received on or before each billing date. If your renewal payment is not received by your billing date, PenPal World will consider your services "cancelled" and immediately remove all premium services from your account.

It is your responsibility to report any accidental double-charges to PenPal World. PenPal World is not obligated to investigate if you have paid twice or more for the same billing cycle, nor to initiate any double-charge refunds. However, if you report any accidental double-charge and PenPal World approves that to be true then any overpaid amount will immediately be refunded back to your PayPal account.

PenPal World does not send invoices by either regular mail or e-mail.

Lifetime Premium Accounts

At PenPal World you can purchase a "Lifetime Premium Account". Lifetime Premium Accounts carry all of the same benefits and restrictions as normal Premium Accounts, except for the following:

  • One Payment for Unlimited Months of PenPal World Premium - after initial payment to activate a Lifetime Account, no additional payments will be owed to maintain basic PenPal World Premium services on that account. (Optional additional payments may still be made for extra features added beyond the basic premium package limits. But no additional payments will be necessary to continue using the basic level of premium services.)

  • Non-Refundable - Lifetime Premium Account purchases are not eligible for any kind of Money-Back Guarantee. If you are interested in trying PenPal World Premium, then we recommend you upgrade first to a 1, 6 or 12 months premium account.

  • Pricing - pricing for Lifetime Premium Accounts may vary. If a price change occurs and it is less than what you've paid, you won't be able to request the difference.

Termination of Services

You may cancel your Premium Services at any time by cancelling your subscription directly within your PayPal account. To avoid automatic billing for a subsequent billing cycle, you must submit your online cancellation request at least 2 days prior to your billing date. Cancellation requests submitted fewer than 2 days prior to a billing date may result in automatic billing of your PayPal account for one (1) additional billing cycle.

You agree that you are responsible for all fees described in this Agreement from the start of your Premium Services to confirmed cancellation by PayPal.

PenPal World reserves the right to immediately terminate your Services and remove your profile or any of your materials from PenPal World's servers if PenPal World, in its sole discretion, concludes that you have violated or threatened to violate the terms of the Agreement. In the event that PenPal World terminates your Services in connection with this paragraph, you will not be entitled to a refund of any fees you have paid to PenPal World.

PenPal World also reserves the right to terminate your Services for any other cause, at its convenience. In the event that PenPal World terminates your Service at its convenience, PenPal World will refund to you a prorated amount of fees which you have pre-paid for the billing cycle in effect at the time of the termination. You agree that this refund shall be your only remedy for termination of service in connection with this paragraph.
